Squash Canada Bids Fond Farewell to Manager of Athlete Development, Samantha Cornett

 

Squash Canada is saddened to announce the departure of Samantha Cornett, Manager of Athlete Development since 2021, effective September 6, 2024. Samantha leaves behind a tremendous legacy on squash in Canada and will remain as one of the great ambassadors of our sport as she begins her next adventure.

Squash Canada Announces National Squads for 2024-25 Season 

 

Squash Canada is pleased to announce, in collaboration with its Provincial and Territorial partners and coaching community, the National Squads for the 2024-25 season. 

 

The squads are a key pillar in Squash Canada’s rebuilding of our athlete development infrastructure as we look to maintain and expand our status as a world-leading nation over the next decade. With squash’s inclusion in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic program, squash in Canada is entering a growth stage. It is an exciting time for the sport and these Squads will play a key role as Squash Canada enters its Olympic era.

Registration Open for Squash Canada’s Canadian Junior Open

 

Squash Canada is pleased to announce The Club at White Oaks and Ridley College as the host of the 2024 Canadian Junior Open presented by Forthlane Partners, which will be held December 7 - 10, 2024, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The Canadian Junior Open is the most prestigious international junior squash tournament held annually in Canada. Information and registration are now available via Club Locker.

Become a Certified Squash Official

 

Become a Certified Squash Official by taking the Online Officiating Exam!! Help give back to your club or local tournaments by reffing matches. And it may just help improve your squash game too!!

 

The Online Club Referee course/exam is now available via ‘The Locker’ hosted by the CAC (Coaching Association of Canada). 

 

To access this training and certification, you will require an NCCP# - if you are unsure whether or not you are registered with the NCCP, please email info@squash.ca for support.
